8.7 million road improvements near Hanley

Works underway on an 8.7 million pounds road improvement scheme to reduce congestion, improve journey times and boost the local economy in part of Stoke-on-Trent.

One of the busiest junctions in the city, the roundabout at Joiners Square near Hanley, is being rebuilt and increased in size to improve its layout and capacity.

Motorists are being warned to expect delays as the work’s expected to last until April next year.
