Appeal launched to find missing 64-year-old

Written by on 10 December 2020

Detectives are appealing for help in finding a missing 64-year-old man who has not been seen for more than a week.

Kenneth Gallagher, of Wolstanton, is described as 5ft 6in tall, stocky build with short grey hair and wears glasses. He has not been seen since November 30.

Detective Inspector Scott McGrath, of CID North, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Kenneth and after speaking to those who know him this would appear to be extremely out of character.

“We would urge anyone who may know where Kenneth is or has seen him to get in contact.”

Anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 0157 of December 7, call 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111

As part of the ongoing investigation detectives are also looking to trace Kenneth’s grey Audi Q7, which has a private registration plate starting K400, and are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle to get in touch.

Detective Inspector Scott McGrath, of CID North, said: “Firstly I would like to thank the public for their reaction to our appeal. We have seen around 1,400 shares across our social media platforms and many comments around this search.

“We are following up a number of lines of inquiry and one of those is around Kenneth’s Audi Q7 which we are looking to locate. Anyone who has seen the vehicle or may know its whereabouts is asked to get in touch.”
