Detectives appeal for information over stabbing in Stoke

A man has suffered multiple facial and hand injuries after being stabbed in Stoke.
The victim in his 30’s was putting his rubbish out when he was attacked by two men in an alleyway between Boughey Street and Frank Street on Friday night.
He describes the first man who was holding the knife as white, of medium build and aged either in his late teens or early 20s. He was about 5ft 8in tall with blonde hair and was clean shaven and spoke with a local Potteries accent. He had either a hat or hood on his head and was wearing a black hooded jacket.
The knife was described as kitchen-style, 12in in length with a black handle and silver blade.
The second man was again white and aged either in his late teens or early 20s. He was smaller than the first attacker, about 5ft 6in tall and of medium build. He also had a black hooded jacket and had his hood up.
