man found guilty of attacking sex worker in Stoke-on-Trent

A 60-year-old Stoke-on-Trent man has been found guilty of assaulting a sex worker .
A court was told, the victim was hit over the head several times. She suffered swelling to her jaw, cuts inside her lip, mouth and nose and bruising to her eye following the incident in September 2019 in Cobridge.
Registered sex offender Henry Alexander, of Hanley, was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He’s been given bail conditions until he’s sentenced later this month.
