21 complaints made about Supermarkets

21 complaints have been made to the city council’s public protection team about supermarkets in Stoke-on-Trent being overcrowded and groups of people shopping together.
Now council leaders are carrying out spot checks to make sure their fully compliant with Coronavirus safety guidance.
Health boss Dr Paul Edmondson-Jones, wrote to all supermarkets a couple of weeks ago, reminding them of their responsibilities and of the significance of putting every Covid-secure measure in place possible to protect customers and their staff.
