More than 8,000 people have been tested for Covid-19 in the first two weeks since a South African variant was found in the Stafford borough.
Health bosses say they’ve been delighted by the response of the public with testing taking place at the Kingston Centre in Stafford, as well as in Gnosall, Eccleshall and Stone plus a number of ‘pop-up’ centres around the borough.
Now people without symptoms are being urged to get tested to check if there are any more variants in the area.
