Covid Rules must be followed

The city council in Stoke is advising sports clubs that they can’t have spectators at their grounds, even if they have arrangements in place for outdoor hospitality.
They say the guidance is clear that spectators aren’t allowed at venues, other than where a parent takes a child to a junior game where the child is playing. They say clubs must keep hospitality separate.
Meanwhile there’s a small number of pubs the local authority and police, are monitoring around concerns that customers aren’t following the guidance.
It includes reports of crowds of people gathering and not socially distancing.
It comes as the coronavirus case rate is continuing to fall.
The Royal Stoke University Hospital had a number of days without any Covid-positive patients being admitted last week, and earlier this week, there were no Covid-positive patients in critical care for the first time since early autumn last year.
