People heading to polling stations across Staffordshire are also being urged to get tested for Covid-19.
Safety measures will be in place to keep voters and staff safe, but health bosses at the county council are encouraging voters to use the trip as an opportunity to get one of their recommended twice weekly coronavirus tests.
Elections will be held for a new Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, for all seats on the County Council, and a by-election for a seat on Stone Town Council.
There is also a referendum to decide whether residents of Stone accept a proposed ‘Neighbourhood Plan’ – which helps regulate development in the area.
More than 100 polling stations will be open for residents eligible to vote – with the council saying a lot of work had been done to ensure the venues were covid-19 safe.
In Cheshire, people are also voting to elect a new Police and Crime Commissioner.
