Assistant Manager on the Lack of Consistency at Crewe Alex

Crewe’s assistant manager says consistency cost them a possible play-off place after the Alex finished 12th eight point shy of the top six.

Kenny Lunt says there were too many games where we didn’t take our chances and the get points were probably deserved.

He admits opportunities were there to make a genuine push for the top six, but we just lacked that little bit of consistency to really push on.
