Crewe’s manager says it’s highly unlikely Ryan Wintle will remain at the club.
Dave Artell says the midfielder was offered a new contract a long time ago and he hasn’t signed it.
Artell says he’s already had calls from Championship manager’s and directors of football asking about him.
Meanwhile Crewe have released three players and offered new contracts to seven others.
Chris Porter, Callum Ainley and Omar Beckles are among those offered new deals while the club have triggered extension clauses for Billy Sass-Davies and Travis Johnson.
Eddie Nolan, Olly Lancashire and Daniel Powell have been released.
The Alex currently 14 players including both goalkeepers under contract for next season.
