Jobs in Stoke on Trent

More than 500 jobs are coming to Stoke-on-Trent.
The Home Office is set to open an Asylum Co-Ordination Hub creating 200 jobs in case worker roles.
There’ll also be the creation of a new Innovation Centre with around 300 digital jobs available.
Stoke North MP Jonathan Gullis who’s been campaigning since November to bring Home Office jobs to the City says he’s over the moon with the news.
Meanwhile Marks and Spencer is to close its store in Hanley with the loss of more than 60 jobs.
The news comes only days after Debenhams shut its store in the Potteries Centre.
Chair of the Stoke-on-Trent Business Improvement District Jon Bellamy says the closure of M&S is disappointing.
