Spot Checks on Covid Compliance in Stoke on Trent
Written by Hitmix News Team on 21 May 2021
Hospitality venues in Stoke-on-Trent have been found to be Covid-compliant, after more than 100 spot checks were carried out as Coronavirus lockdown measures continue to ease.
Public protection teams visited 110 businesses following the reopening of indoor hospitality venues, including pubs, cafes and cinemas.
Advice was given to a small number of premises on clearly displaying QR codes and posters for test and tracing arrangements.
Council leader Abi Brown says it’s great to see so many venues reopening with every Covid-secure measure in place to support and protect their customers and staff.
