Problems accessing primary health care services in Staffordshire

A new reports shows that people experienced problems when seeking to access Primary Care Services in Staffordshire during the Covid-19 pandemic.
More than 70 per cent of people had a negative experience with their GP surgery.
71 per cent of residents were only offered telephone or video appointments and only one resident received a home visit from their GP.
A large number of people said they weren’t offered any alternative care if they couldn’t access an appointment, and some said they were not updated if there were delays to their appointments.
Health watch Staffordshire have now made a range of recommendations.
