Two machetes, a crossbow, sword, four knives, drugs and 3 thousand pounds in cash have been seized during a week of County Lines activity in Staffordshire.
Nineteen people, including 15 men, a woman and three boys were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences. Two people were also safeguarded.
In Cheshire, 14 people were arrested while heroin, cocaine and cannabis were recovered.
Police say the groups use vulnerable young people, to traffic the drugs after deals are agreed remotely through a mobile or ‘line.’
As part of the week’s activity, officers have been into schools and worked closely with youth services to advise and educate youngsters about the risks of County Lines.
