The final preparations are underway for this year’s Ironman Staffordshire event which is taking place in just over a fortnight’s time.
More than a thousand athletes will be swimming, cycling and running across the gruelling 70.3 mile sporting spectacle.
Organisers say planning for the event is being done in line with national and localised safety guidelines to make sure the event is safe.
