Covid cases rise in stoke on trent by 69%

There’s been a 69 per cent increase in Covid-19 cases in Stoke-on-Trent.
The seven-day rate in the city is now 258.2 per 100 thousand people. Cases are spread across the Potteries but hotspot areas are Hanley and Etruria.
Now people are being urged to continue getting tested and vaccinated.
Enhanced community testing took place at the Potteries Centre yesterday and will return tomorrow.
