Hanley Town through to next round of FA Cup

Hanley Town were at home on Tuesday evening in a replay of Saturdays 1- All draw with Leicester Road in the 1^st Qualifying round of the FA cup.

Hinckley Leicester Road went ahead in the first half but former Stoke and Port Vale player Danny Pugh notched his first goal for Hanley to square the tie on 71 minutes.

Charlie Walford then put the hosts ahead two minutes later to turn the game on its head.

Hanley were awarded a penalty in stoppage time, Dagnall failing to score moments before the end.

They earn a home tie against Staffordshire rivals Chasetown on 18th September
