Vintage Stationary Engine, Classic Vehicle Rallies and Potters’ Mill Steaming at the Etruria Industrial Museum

 

On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September the Etruria Industrial Museum will be open from 1030 to1630. Shirley’s 1857 Bone & Flint Mill will be in steam and operating as in Victorian Times with the 1820s beam engine ‘Princess’ driving the mill from 1300 to 1630.

On Saturday there will be a Stationary Vintage Engines Rally and on Sunday a Classic Vehicles Rally on the museum field by the attractive Caldon canal.

Refreshments and toilets available in the Visitor Centre. Blacksmith Demonstrations will take place in the Forge.

Parking is free and visitors can take a walk along the interesting and picturesque Trent and Mersey and Caldon canals.

Entrance to Rallies, Museum and Mill is Free in support of Heritage Open Days, DONATIONS in support of Shirley Bone and Flint Mill Volunteers welcome.

To protect visitors and volunteers all are asked to respect our Covid precautions.

Due to the historic nature of the buildings access to the mill is restricted for those with mobility difficulties.
