There are a few fun things going on on Saturday to help get us in the spirit of Christmas … Longton Market are having a Victorian Day with Santa and the north Staffs Storm Troopers, Helping Angels are holding their Christmas Market with festive stalls, carol singers, Santa and much more at the Indie Club at Sneyd Green Community Centre between 10 and 4, Porthill Park Cricket Club are holding a Christmas Market between 11 and 5

And don’t forget … Affordable Foods in Blurton are aiming to give 50 families a ‘complete Christmas’ this year – this includes Christmas lunch, presents and enough food to see them through the festive period. They are looking for donations of food and gifts to help make this possible. For more information visit the Affordable Food Stoke facebook or twitter page.  (or telephone 07748 009253)

If you love your Speedway and miss our local team Stoke Potters, here is something to look forward to next year ….. NEWCASTLE Diamonds who are based in Newcastle-upon -Tyne have confirmed that a Stoke Potters Select team will take to the track for one night only.

The Diamonds will host the Potters select at their opening meeting on Sunday April 3rd  as a celebration of the life of the late Dave Tattum who passed away recently.  The Dave Tattum Memorial Meeting will see the return of the Potters who closed at the end of the 2019 season and who Dave had promoted for a considerable amount of time.
