14.12.21 – Charlotte Clarke, Staffordshire Police Advice, Winter Mini Challenge, New Vic Digs List

Written by on 14 December 2021

Congratulations to former Newcastle College sport student, Charlotte Clarke, who has signed for Liverpool FC Women from Derby County Women.

21-year-old Charlotte, who played for the colleges ladies football team whilst studying there, kicked off her career at Derby County Women aged just 16 before signing for Leicester City Women, which saw her be part of a promotion-winning team. In 2020, whilst playing in goal for Stoke City Women, Charlotte earned her call-up to play for the England U21s squad before returning to Derby County where she has played for the last two seasons.  And some young ladies have been lucky enough to have been trained by Charlotte recently at Newcastle Town FC.

As it is the time of year for celebrating, Staffordshire Police are urging us all to stay aware and stay safe if out celebrating.

Firstly, be patient with security staff while they’re checking ID’s – Never leave your drink unattended –Look after your friends and make sure you stay together.  Drink soft drinks and water regularly to keep hydrated. Always Use black cabs or pre-booked private hire taxis to get home.  If you or your friends feel unwell at any point, get help. And always Report anything suspicious to staff or the police

Do you live within easy walking distance of the New Vic Theatre?  Do you have a spare, comfortable and furnished room and would you be willing to share other facilities in your house?

Out-of-town cast and crew require local accommodation whilst working on theatre shows. So why not join our ‘Digs List’ and get to know some lovely theatre folk! For more details go to the New Vic website and search New Vic Digs list.
