Stoke City’s manager says they were disappointed they didn’t get more than a point following a 1-all draw at Blackburn on Saturday. Nick Powell put them in front before John Buckley, the Potters then had James Chester sent off late on. Michael O’Neill’s side are 8th four points off the play off places.
Newspaper reports suggest Blackburn have made a bid for Crewe’s Harry Pickering. Despite being linked with Stoke, it’s understood Rovers are the only club who’ve made a bid for the talented left back. 22-year-old Pickering, who isn’t far off making 150 appearances for the club, still has two-and-a-half years left on his contract.
