9th and 9th June – Teddy Bears Outing – Apedale Railway

This Saturday and Sunday it is the Teddy Bears Outing at Apedale Railway.  It is a lovely family event focussing on the children, who if they bring their Teddy Bear or any stuffed furry friend with them can ride on the train free (standard charges for adults).  Also there are things for the children to do like spotting teddy bears, and solving a puzzle and they could win a prize – the trains run from 11.30 to 4pm – have a look on their website avlr.org.uk. And you can visit the mining museum while you are there – always a lovely outing at Apedale
