22.06.24 – Armed Forces Day in Hanley – SOT BID

Saturday  22^nd June …. Stoke Tri Services Veterans Support, in collaboration with Stoke-on-Trent City Centre Business Improvement District will be celebrating ‘Armed Forces Day in Hanley Town Centre from 10am til 4pm.The day will be a showcase of the heritage and tradition of the Armed Forces, from interactive exhibits, children’s activities, wartime vehicles and crafts. Plus, Potteries Artisan Market will be in attendance with a variety of gifts, tasty treats and quirky homewares for sale. The event will also showcase live music performances from local talented musicians, a choir and a piper, showcasing songs from the 1940s and modern classics.There will be a pop up tea room in Tontine Street, and lots of good causes will be there including the 58 signal squadron association, SSAFA, the Sea Cadets,  Serenity Farm Project, M.A.D Reptiles, the Owl sanctuary and Newcastle Hedgehog rescue.  Sounds like a lovely day out in Hanley for all the family!!
