Saturday 6th December – WOT’S ON!

And talking of 6^th December – this is a day that we are really looking forward to ….. The Hitmix team will be there at Tunstall Market playing music and creating a festive atmosphere and switching those Christmas lights on!!   – Tunstall is a lovely market and has been trading for 500 years – the stall holders are friendly and there are some great stalls there – come along and bag yourself a festive bargain, it would be fantastic if you could join us at that one ……

And then on Saturday 6^th December, Fustian and  Musical Misfits will be performing at the Higherland Methodist Church – it’s their Annual Christmas Concert – tickets are just £5 with proceeds to Church funds.  We are definitely going to this one this year – we will be at Tunstall Market in the day but will be back in time for this because we really missed it last year.  It starts at 6pm and basically, There is a lot of singing going on of well known Christmas tunes  and it is great to listen to – but they provide a song sheet with all the words so that you can sing along, and it is fantastic – there is a great raffle as well and a cuppa and gorgeous homemade cakes at the interval.  There is nothing like a good old sing-song to lift your mood – and we now have some tickets here at the Hitmix so you can call for some – it would be great to see you there and enjoy a good old singalong together. Newcastle Light Parade – On Saturday 6 December –  those who have attended a lantern making workshop organised by B-Arts over the past few weeks can collect their lanterns at 4.30pm, the parade leaves at 5pm from Keele in Town for a walk around the town centre.  You will be able to keep your handmade lantern after the parade too!
