13.02.26 – Wear it Purple for Peter Pan

Peter Pan –  a wonderful local charity supporting children with various special educational needs and disabilities.  They provide a fantastic service to our community but they don’t receive government funding, which is why funds raised through campaigns make such a difference to helping them raise the income needed to support vulnerable young children with special educational needs and disabilities so that they can lead happy and healthy lives as they grow up.  And here is something fun to do whilst  supporting them.   Wear it Purple Day for 2026.  All you have to do is join with a group of friends or colleagues and wear something purple for Valentines Day, on 13^th February, and make a donation to The Peter Pan Centre – they do have an online just giving page which you can find on the Hitmix Website under Local and Live – or you can just pop the cash in to them at Hoon Avenue, Wolstanton. I do love a ‘day’ especially at work in the factory, shop or office – it perks you up and lifts the mood and it is great to be able to contribute to a fantastic local charity.  In fact, last year I distinctly remember Robbie, Stu and Andy doing it – all clad in purple and loving every minute – they love dressing up.
