Riverbank Restaurant – NSCG – Stafford

Riverbank Restaurant in Stafford is part of the NSCG Stafford College – based on the campus, overlooking Victoria Park – and it took us just 30 minutes to get to Stafford and parking was very easy right across the road on the Windmill car park.  So the getting there was much easier than we anticipated from Newcastle.  Basically, we bid for this 3 course meal at the Riverbank Restaurant in a charity auction – it was in aid of The Macari Centre.  But what a treat was in store for us – basically, it is a lovely little restaurant and it is run by the catering students – the students cook, serve and clean up after the meal … what great hands on experience – different students each time.  The food was amazing – a lovely menu with three choices for each course – starter, main course and dessert.  I had Tai fishcakes, Chicken Supreme and Chocolate fondant …. Every course was perfect –

Our waiter was a young man by the name of Ethan – very attentive, very polite and he did an amazing job.

The food was wonderful – some of the best food I have had in a very long time – I cannot tell you just how good it was.  The reason I am sharing this with you is that you can book in at the Riverbank Restaurant – you can book on line –  just put Riverbank restaurant Stafford into your browser and you can book quickly and easily.  It took 30 minutes to get there from alsagers bank so the closer towards Stafford you are the quicker it will be – but the journey was good.  The food, the atmosphere, the whole experience was second to non and it is great place to experience quite frankly wonderful food for a very reasonable price – they also do a few themed events – so there is a lot to choose from but don’t miss it.
