Rosalie Heatherington Fundraiser

On Sunday, 23^rd April, there will be a charity Football match and fun day at Newcastle Town Football Club.  The gates open at 1pm and the football kicks off at 2pm – there will be a bouncy castle, Raffles, Stalls, hot food, bar and a lot more.   It is all in aid of Rosalie Hetherington.

And this is a heart breaking story – Rosalie is just 4 months old and she was born with just half a heart.  She has already had two heart operations, the first when she was just four days old and she has a third one coming up.   She has spent the whole of her short little life a Birmingham Childrens Hospital and she is fighting for survival.

Rosalie was diagnosed with hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and has a leaky valve on the right side of her heart.  The next operation will be to put stitches in the leak. Her Mum Beth doesn’t leave Rosalies side and dad Connor has to carry on working and so is driving back and forth between Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham. They are just 19 and 21 years old.

So if you can offer some support to a mum and dad who haven’t been able to bring their baby home, a baby who is still fighting for survival  Or put the football fundraiser day on 23^rd April in your diary and support that way.  And if you can’t do either, positive vibes, thoughts and prayers are needed.
