Newcastle Town FC Open 3G Pitch at Roe Lane – 10.06.23

This Saturday our local team Newcastle Town FC will be opening their new 3G Pitch at Roe Lane, they have put such a lot of time and effort in, and it is very exciting for local football lovers.  It will give so much opportunity for training for local youngsters, and the team down at Newcastle have so many different ideas and plans for the future for all areas of the community.  So, the gates will open this Saturday at 9am – The official actual opening will take place at 10am and it will be an action packed day. If you have youngsters who are interested in football – boys or girls – take them there on Saturday.  They will be able to meet the men’s and ladies teams, there will be a girls only session straight after the official opening, with the ladies team who have done amazingly well this year. There will be a girls and boys goalkeeping session – 7 to 12s from 11oclock til 12 and over 12s from 12 til 1.  There will be lots of other things as well such as a bouncy castle, the club shop and café will be open, there will be raffles – and guess what – The Hitmix Radio Roadshow will be there – come down and say hello – we would love to see you there.  But seriously, if you have youngsters into football, they aren’t going to have a better opportunity than this to feel the atmosphere of the ground, chat to actual footballers and generally have a lovely day.
