Newcastle Pop-up Park

A pop-up park has appeared in Newcastle Town Centre – it is in Red Lion Square – near to St. Giles church.  And it is absolutely beautiful!!  Anyone can use it to stop for a chat, eat your lunch or just have a rest.  When the weather is good there will be some toys and books there for children to play with. There will also be some free workshops for youngsters, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The next pop up session will be Friday 4th  August where the BID will be celebrating the start of the summer holidays with themed craft activities, live performances courtesy of Appetite and Newcastle Common, deckchairs and best of all – free ice cream for children and parents!
