The Welephant Club – Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service

If you have any 4 to 8 year olds in the family … listen to this!! The Welephant Club is an on-line club for 4 to 8 year olds living in Staffordshire and is run by Staffordshire Fire and Rescue. Youngsters can join the club for free and can learn more about fire safety, water safety and road safety – so it is great fun but also educational. Children who join the Welephant Club can follow the adventures of Welephant, Blaze Bear, Cybil Squirrel and Priya on their adventures to keep everyone safe. When you they join they will receive ….. a certificate, a membership pack full of activities, they will get a card on their birthday and a quarterly newsletter with quizzes, activities and competitions. Plus, There are loads of things on the website including colouring sheets to download.
It’s a fantastic club and it is absolutely free … so really it would be mad not to join!! I have had a look online and it looks absolutely fantastic – and the younger they learn about safety issues, they will just become part of what’s normal so from that point of view alone it is brilliant!
