Off-road motor Bikes in Hanley Boys arrested, Vehicle interference arrests in Burslem

Staffordshire Police have arrested three people following an incident involving off-road motorbikes in Hanley recently. Officers were called to Central Forest Park at 7.15 on the evening of Sunday 2 June following reports of a collision involving a young girl and an off-road motorbike, which rode off after it happened
Thankfully, the girl was not seriously injured, and since then, Police have been speaking to people who were in the area at the time to track down those involved. Three boys, all from Stoke on Trent, have been arrested – a 17 year old and a 15 year old on suspicion of failing to stop after a collision and a 17-year-old on suspicion of vehicle theft. All three have been questioned in custody and released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Two men have been arrested following reports of people trying car door handles in Stoke-on-Trent in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police were called to an address near Mill Hayes Road, Burslem, at 12.30 am when two men were seen acting suspiciously near a parked car. Following checks of the area, two men were stopped matching the descriptions given by witnesses, and tools and a torch were seized.
A 43-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, and a 39-year-old man, of no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference.
