Woman Sadly dies in Collision in Knutton, Broadband Connections in Newcastle

The family of a woman who died in a collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme has paid tribute to her.  32 year old Shejuti Pasha was travelling as a passenger in a silver Toyota Icon when the car collided with railings on High Street, Knutton, just after 10.30pm on Wednesday 25 September.  She was taken to hospital but sadly died as a result of her injuries.

In a moving tribute, her family said that before she passed away shejuti, who is dearly missed, was pursuing her dream of becoming a famous writer, and had so much to give to this world,.

The driver and a second passenger from the car were not injured.  A 22-year-old man, from the Newcastle-under-Lyme area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving. He has been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.

In a moving tribute to her, Shejuti’s family said: “Shejuti was pursuing her dream of becoming a famous writer before she passed away.

“She was an inspiring writer who had so much to give in this world.

“She was one of the most determined people there ever was. Her smile can brighten up a whole room and her intelligence was a site to behold.

“We will all miss her dearly.”

Superfast broadband connections are going to be provided in parts of Newcastle -under-Lyme, which have been overlooked by mainstream providers.

The Borough Council is ready to appoint a provider to deliver up to 50km of fibre connection as part of the Newcastle Town Deal.

Once complete, businesses, homes and community centres in the Town Deal area will be able to connect to gigabyte capacity broadband.
