The Dougie Mac – How can you support them?

The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, known locally as the Dougie Mac, has been caring for our community since 1973. They provide their hospice services free of charge to over 3,500 local people with life-limiting illnesses, also offering supportive care to their families and carers.  It costs over £20million to run the hospice’s services free of charge every year, with 75% of this funding coming from local people!  With your help, we supported the Dougie Mac as part of our Christmas Appeal!!  There are many ways that you can support the Dougie Mac including donations, fundraising, the Dougie Mac Lottery and also taking part in events like the 10K run on 6^th April … the Colour dash on 1^st June … and the fantastic midnight to sunrise walk on 20^th June..
