Appeal after man dies in collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme

We are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died following a collision in Hill Chorlton, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

We were called at 7pm on Friday (9 May) to reports of a collision involving a blue Kia Niro car and two motorbikes, a red BMW and a silver Triumph, at the junction of Coombsdale and Kennel Lane.

The rider of the Triumph, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with multiple injuries.

Sadly, he died in hospital this morning (Tuesday 13 May). Specialist officers are supporting his family at this difficult time.

We are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area with any information or dashcam footage which could help collision investigators.
