17th May – Newcastle Police Football Event – Kidsgrove Athletic FC

Officers from the Newcastle-under-Lyme local policing team are holding a community football event which is free-to-attend event and will take place at Kidsgrove Athletic Football Club between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday.  Children from two local schools will take part in a seven-a-side football tournament, along with a bouncy castle, face-painting, refreshments and a raffle for everyone to enjoy.  There will also be prizes for everyone taking part and the winning school will receive a bespoke football kit that they can design themselves, worth around £700.   Any donations received throughout the day will be put towards a youth club that officers are planning on opening at Kidsgrove Athletic FC.  So a free fun day out on Saturday.
