POTTERIES MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY – Chinese New Year of the Rabbit – Sunday 22 January – 11am – 4pm – Admission is Free
Come along to the museum on Sunday 22 January and help us welcome in the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit. This colourful and vibrant festival will include traditional Dragon and Lion dances, firecrackers, magic, acrobats and Chinese folk dancing.
In our theatre there will be performances from children from the local Chinese Sunday school and from professional artists.
Crafts activities will be taking place throughout the day and include Chinese painting and writing. Children can also make a clay rabbit to take home, small charge applies for the clay workshop.
The museum will have extended opening hours for this event and will open at 10am and close at 5pm.
