15.07.23 – The Madeley Carnival

Saturday 15^th July …  ‘The Madeley Carnival’ is taking place … Starting at 11am with a procession of floats, a marching band and vintage cars /vehicles plus the Mayor and the Town Crier, going  from ‘All Saints Church’, arriving at the ‘Madeley Centre’ at around 11.30 ….  the Centre will play host to a fun filled day of activities, games, local craft sellers, food and drink including plenty of hot food, an ice cream stall and a sweet stall.  There will be a climbing wall and an inflatable assault course, both of these were very popular last year.

Some of the floats are decorated by children from The Meadows School, and the local Scout Group … Also this year, there are ‘craft sessions’ for children where youngsters will be able to decorate a money box or a stress ball which they can take home with them.

At midday there will be a concert in the Madeley Centre by pupils from Madeley high School.   – So don’t miss it – 15th July at All Saints Church at 11 and arriving at the Madeley Centre at 11.30. Basically, an action-packed day for all the family.
