16.07.23 – 850 Year Celebration Medieval Market in Newcastle Town Centre

Sunday 16^th July …..  … There will be a Medieval Market in Newcastle Town Centre which has been arranged by ‘Friends of the Guildhall’ – they are always great markets down there in Newcastle on ‘The Stones’ but this is a special one with a medieval theme – all as part of Newcastle’s 850 year celebration.  A great market with plenty to do for all the family including a procession …  ‘local bakers, makers and creators’ … a medieval trail for the youngsters, … street food …  crafting activities …. The Town Crier …  and much more.  The day will also include medieval themed activities including music, games, stocks, free workshops and involvement from local schools and community groups through a “Procession of the King” with Newcastle’s very own symbolic king Neil Baldwin (Nello).
