16.08.23 – Teenage Boy Assaulted in Berry Hill, 40 Cannabis Plants discovered in Hanley Property

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information following reports of a teenage boy assaulted in Stoke-on-Trent last month.

Police received reports of a boy who was assaulted on a field on Arbourfield Drive, Berry Hill, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday (20 July).

The boy sustained facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The offender is described as a white man, in his 30s, around 5ft 3ins tall, with tattoos and a shaved head.   Inquiries are ongoing.

A man has been arrested after officers found cannabis plants at a property in Stoke-on-Trent in the early hours of yesterday morning

Police were called to an address at 2.15am in the Hanley area following reports of suspicious activity, and

on arrival, more than 40 cannabis plants were discovered.  The plants were seized and a man was located shortly afterwards.

A 22-year-old man, from Kidsgrove, was arrested on suspicion of burglary – with intent to steal and inquiries are ongoing.

Officers across the region are continuing to proactively target drug cultivation as part of their Operation Levidrome commitment.
