Caudwell Children’s Time to Shine and Big Birthday Bake Competition

The local charity Caudwell Children have a couple of nice competitions going on  –

Is your child a superstar in the making? Whether they love to paint, sing, dance, or perform, Caudwell Children want to see their incredible talent!  To celebrate 25 years of Caudwell Children, the charity has launched ‘Time to Shine’—an incredible campaign to showcase the talents of disabled and neurodivergent children aged 6–16.  Or … if cake design is more your youngsters thing, Caudwell Children are inviting disabled and neurodivergent young people aged 5-16 to take part in ‘the Big Birthday Bake’ and design a cupcake. Participants can choose the colours, flavours and toppings of the cupcake but the cake must represent Caudwell Children in some way.  So if you want to enter either of these competitions you will find all of the information on the Caudwell Children website which is Caudwell children.com.  You just need to send in a video of your child’s performance or a photo of your child’s artwork or cake design to marketing@caudwellchildren.com no later than 30^th June 2025.  The winner and two runner ups of ‘Time to Shine’ competition will take centre stage or have their artwork displayed at Caudwell Children’s Family Open Day and the winner of ‘The Big Birthday Bake’ will see their cupcake design made into a real cake by a local baker to sell at the charity’s Family Fun Open Day.   – We will tell you a lot more about the family open day in due course – but get 8^th August 2025 into your diary – it was a fantastic day last year!!
