What is your star sign? Virgo…… or at least that’s what I was always told but apparently now scientists have changed all the star signs.

Give us an interesting fact about yourself:  I play a slight bit of guitar (which I am still learning after many years) and in my spare time I am a Karaoke and Disco Compère/DJ in the area and sing a little.

What’s your favourite film? Die Hard – Reminds me of Christmas. It is a Christmas film you know…

Which famous person would you like to meet? Bill Gates. He has revolutionised the world as we know it and now dedicates his time to doing charity work.

What is on your ‘bucket list’? Travel around the States, New York, Florida, Miami, California, Dallas, Washington etc… Visit the Ed Sullivan Theatre, Grand Canyon and a few proper cowboy bars to name but a few.

What is your favourite song of all time and why?  I have many, but one of my favourites that springs to mind is Night Owl – Gerry Rafferty. Whenever I hear the song, the sound of the hi hat reminds me of the tinniness of the old record players of the day. It brings back memories to the point that I can virtually smell the vinyl record.

What do you love about Newcastle-under-Lyme? I was born, grew up, went to both school and college and lived in the borough for over 30 years. I now live just over the ‘border’ in Stoke-on-Trent but in all likely hood will probably, one day end up moving back in to the borough once again.
