Written by Hitmix Local News on 6 July 2023
Staffordshire County Council are inviting you to have your say in their latest survey.
The household travel survey invites residents to share how they travel around Staffordshire to help shape future transport plans, focussing on questions about usual travel behaviour – walking, cycling, driving and travelling on bus or train for everyday journeys.
The survey which will run until 15th July should take a maximum of 15 minutes to complete and can be found on the Staffordshire County Council website
Staff from Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service have trained and qualified as mental health first aiders.
Representatives from both services have completed a two-day course in recent weeks, learning about the signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health issues and how to effectively guide colleagues towards the appropriate support.
The training covers a range of topics including: the roles and responsibilities of a mental health first aider, recognising stress and how to support a colleague who may be experiencing stress, as well as recognising and understanding self-harm and eating disorders.
